Donald Caught with Minnie on Camera

I remember reading the Walt Disney: Hollywood’s Dark Prince and it opened up a whole new view on the Disney business for me. As a kid I loved Disney, used to practice drawing the Disney Ducks so I could work as an animator for the company. Then, as I grew into adulthood, I realized it was all an illusion. Disney worked his animators hard and often in an unforgiving manner–it did result in excellence as far as the artform is concerned but he didn’t want to give these artists their due credit. They were just grunts. One time he worked them so hard that after they finished a film they went on an outing and apparently everyone got a bit too frisky if you know what I mean. At least that’s what I remember from the book .
